- Account & contact data — name, email, and related profile details you provide.
- Billing data — processed by our payment provider; we store subscription status and related records needed to deliver the service.
- Usage data — product usage, credit consumption, and technical logs needed to operate and improve StorySage.
- Communications — messages you send via support, contact forms, or email (may include IP address and user-agent for abuse prevention).
3. How we use data
We use personal and usage data to provide the service, process payments, prevent abuse, respond to inquiries, and improve StorySage. We do not resell personal data (name, contact information, billing details) under any circumstances.
4. Privacy of created content
Stories and content created on StorySage are subject to the licensing, visibility, and ownership terms of your plan (see Terms of Use and plan signup materials). Free/Storyteller projects may appear in public gallery contexts under non-commercial sharing terms; Storyteller Pro projects are private by default unless you opt in.
5. Sharing
We share data with service providers who help us operate (hosting, email, payments, analytics) under appropriate agreements, and when required by law. We do not sell personal data.
6. Security & retention
We store information using reasonable administrative and technical safeguards. Retention periods depend on account status, legal obligations, and operational needs. Contact us to request deletion where applicable.

Messages submitted through the marketing-site contact form are emailed to our team and may include your IP address and browser user-agent for spam prevention. See also our Contact page.
